Dominic Cobb- Former extractor for Cobol Engineering, charged with his wife Mal's murder, and working outside the country to return to his children.

Arthur- The point man, Cobb's aid in Extraction, skilled at fending off projections as well as designing levels

Saito- The tourist, in competition with Maurice Fischer Senior for total energy dominance, wants to break up Fisher's empire.

Eames- The forger, able to change his appearance within the dreams, has apparently attempted Inception before.

Ariadne- The architect, designs the mazes for the Inception job and works Cobb through his dilemma.

Mal- The shade, Cobb's late wife, who committed suicide and haunts his dreams as a projection.

Robert Fischer Junior- The mark, struggling to gain his father's love, or his empire.

Browning- The godfather of Robert, working to gain control of Fischer's empire.

Miles- Mal's father, and Cobb's father figure. A professor, possibly of architecture, in Paris.
